64-68 Broadway. Looking south west across Broadway towards the former Great Western Hotel at 64-68 Broadway, which was a Tooheys Hotel.
The ACF (Australian Cycling Federation) shop is in the former hotel building. Buildings behind the hotel, on the right, are the Tooths Irving Street brewery, which was built in 1912, and covers the land between Balfour Street and Carlton Street.
The left hand building is the Kent brewery, which is the original Tooth & Co Brewery site, established in 1835.
The word Carlton is on the building exterior. A tall chimney is on the Irving Street brewery site. Above Balfour Street a transom carries pipes from one building to the other.
